Aileen Munster is a talented and accomplished trade association executive with 25 years experience developing education programs and other forums for member engagement. She is adept at determining member needs and creating relevant programs, events and forums.
Accomplishments:

Developed comprehensive and highly-rated education programs for trade shows and conferences focused on a wide range of retail industry issues.

Developed and executed special events including store tour programs, marketing and merchandising competitions and scholarship programs.

Aileen most recently served as the vice president of education and research for the National Grocers Association. NGA represents independent, family-owned grocery companies throughout the United States. At NGA, Aileen set the strategy for education initiatives as well as developed and managed a variety of educational events, including trade shows, conferences and webinars. She also oversaw the development of financial benchmark and consumer surveys and developed share groups for specific communities within NGA’s membership.
Prior to joining NGA, Aileen held a number of increasingly responsible positions in research, education and industry affairs at Food Marketing Institute. During her tenure, Aileen led teams which developed a number of highly-rated programs including the inaugural Future Connect event.
She has a BS in Economics from Virginia Tech and an MA in International Business from George Mason University.
Have worked directly with Aileen for many years in an educational capacity at both the National Grocers Association and the Food Marketing Institute. She excels at the development and execution of a variety of association educational forums including conferences, convention workshops, share groups, executive leadership development and a variety of university programs.
